We are delighted to announce that the Nepal Public Health Association (NEPHA) is organizing the Nepal Public Health Conference 2025 on May 16–17, 2025, under the overarching theme:
“Health System Challenges and Opportunities in the Federal Context.”
This national-level conference aims to bring together public health professionals, policymakers, academics, researchers, and stakeholders to explore critical issues, share evidence-based insights, and foster collaborative solutions to strengthen Nepal’s health system within the evolving federal structure. Since the transition to federalism, Nepal’s health sector has encountered both opportunities and complex challenges. While decentralization has offered the promise of more localized and responsive healthcare delivery, it has also posed questions regarding governance, financing, and equitable access. In this context, the Nepal Public Health Conference 2025 will serve as a vital platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange.
The conference will delve into three key sub-themes:
- Governance and Policy in the Federal Health System
- Health Financing and Resource Allocation
- Equity, Access, and Social Inclusion
Call for abstracts
Public health researchers are invited to submit abstracts for oral/poster presentations under any of the sub-themes by April 15, 2025.
Abstract Guidelines:
Title Page: Short title, author name(s) & affiliation(s), sub-theme, and presentation type (oral/poster).
Abstract Sections: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Word Limit: 250 words (MS Word)
